Ecuador, here I come.
I’ve decided to once again give blogging a try. After many attempts to keep up with a blog, and failing I’ve decided to leave more of a mark on the world and write a little bit more about myself. It’s terrible timing as I’m planning a get away vacation trip to Ecuador, and my plane leaves tomorrow. Let the last minute packing begin!
I’ll be sans communication, but will try to be inspired and think of all the wonderful things I can paint in the future. And while I’m at it, get a really nice tan so when I start applying for jobs, I’ll look really good and well traveled aka cool.
Did I mention I’m in a long distance relationship? Thank goodness it’s with a really awesome guy that I love very much. He’s the bee’s knees and wouldn’t want him any other way, except right next to me, because long distance relationships suck. So in my month long vacation trip I will be missing him rather dearly but will be consoled by the culture and food I will be rapidly consuming.
See ya’ll in a month, with pictures to come.

Excited for a New Year, although it might be a tough one with me moving back to NYC in February (for family reasons :/ ) and my boyfriend staying in Los Angeles. I’ll miss him like crazy, but at least this year I get to hang with my grandma, meet my sister for the second time ever!!!! Spend some time with my dad, get a cool new haircut, and hopefully have an awesome job in NYC. Crossing my fingers.
Did anyone ever seen the bathroom in the Art Directors Club!? Well I never posted about it, so not many people know, but I assisted the four really awesome guys that sharpied it. Along side Rich Tu, Timothy Goodman, Mikey Burton and Chris Rubino, was lil ole me. This seems so long ago now, but looking back on it now I’m so happy to have had the chance to contribute to something so cool. At the time I had been interning for Rich Tu, who by the way, is an awesome and super funny illustrator and designer in Manhattan. ADC had asked him to work on this really awesome mural for the women’s bathroom and he brought me along. I did my good portion of drawing and erasing, it was one of the happiest times of that summer. I felt so involved. After the day was through, everyone signed their name, including me! I’m pretty sure I’m the name behind that trashcan. So if you’re in the neighborhood, check it out, I think my name is still there. Send me a shout out all the way to Cali!
Check out Timothy Goodman’s blog for more insight on the mural here:
I’ve been thinking lately of how fortunate Ive been to have traveled so much this past year. Even just the road trip out here from NYC to LA was amazing. As I was scrolling through hundreds of the pictures taken, I picked a few out of my favorites! Really makes me want to have another cross country road trip! Will definitely have to save money. Fingers crossed.
Smitten has new non-photo holiday cards up! With illustrations done by me :) check em out!
